How to Use Networking for Career Growth

Networking has become a bad word! A lot of people hate the thought of it. Some people find it awkward, uncomfortable, salesy or bothering people. Totally been there before. Here is the thing, networking has played a major role in the success of my career and the same goes for my guest, Amanda Schutte, Manager, Partnerships & Experiential at Performance Health. Her entire journey in the sports industry has been supported by her networking. Said differently, every job throughout her career is a result of the networking she’s been doing since her college days! It’s how I hired her to work for me at the Chicago Cubs! Straight out of college.

Here’s the thing. It’s never too late to start networking. You just have to start. I invite you to listen to my interview with Amanda where she shares how over the past 9+years she has used networking to build and maintain authentic relationships.

Not sure where to start when it comes to networking? Have an existing network that needs nurturing? Or do you just feel awkward and hate bothering people? Whatever the case might be, I can help you get on track to use networking to help with your career trajectory! Let’s Talk! Schedule a 30-minute discovery call with me. Consider it the first step in upping your Networking game!!
